Authority
Another construction game. But they are all the same. Since the first days there are bars to place the streets and buildings. As the years go by, the bars do not become less, they even become more. Grids for the height were added. I speak from blocks. Where are the Cities skylines of the Middle Ages? Here.
But Authority is more than that. With a new land plot system, the look and feel is completely new. And there are game mechanics you've never seen before.
Realistic style and scalingThe style is more that of an action adventure than that of a classic building game. No grid, no people as big as trees or houses. | Land-Plot-SystemIn this game the player does not place buildings, but plots of land. The basic plots offer space for one family and their workplace. This is how expanded villages are created. | Land Plots Lv 2If a level 1 plot is surrounded by level 1 plots, the player may divide it into two level 2 plots. The centre of the villages becomes denser this way. And it is possible to move more advanced professions. |

Land Plot Lv 3Lv 3 plots are not simply divided up again. They form a series of plots. In this way, the typical high-density nuclei of medieval cities are created. | GenerationsEvery family gets more generations over time. Each new generation brings another floor to the house they live in. Thus the cities grow in the course of time. | Contend of land plotsThe structure of the buildings on each land plot is chosen randomly, depending on the type of workplace the player chooses. |
Natural lookThe Land-Plot system gives medieval building games a fresh, new and realistic look and feel. | The TerrainThe player builds villages that become cities that are supplied with resources by other villages. The distances between larger cities are as realistic as they were in the Middle Ages. | Day-Night-CycleA change of day and night brings the feeling of morning dew and evening romance. |
King modeThe player can move through the city and take the perspective of his subjects. |
